Amrutdhara Old Age Home in Sahadevkhunta, Balasore, embraced the spirit of respect and appreciation on Senior Citizen Day as they celebrated and honored the cherished elders residing in their care. The event was a heartwarming tribute to the wisdom and contributions of the senior residents, making them feel valued and cherished.
In order to create awareness among the slum dwellers about the existing in sanitary conditions and the need for having sanitary latrines, AMRUT DHARA CHARITABLE TRUST has arranged motivation camps in Chunvati a slum of Balasore Municipality under Balasore District.
In fact this refers to various activities concerning to production of vegetables in homestead areas. May that be plantation of saplings like Papaya, Drumstick, Lemon or cultivation of various farm vegetables like brinjal, cauliflower, ladies finger, chilly and lot other vegetables which are generally catering to’ the day-to-day consumption need of every family.
The regional cultural activities like Palla, Dasakathia, Dandanrutya, Chau Nrutiya Ghoda Nachha etc. are going to be obsolete day by day. This is due to the influence of western culture & electronic media, which provides all type of entertainment programme.
In order to inculcate the spirit of competition among the rural youth the organisation is organizing rural sports on a regular basis. Athletics, football, Kabaddi, Kho-kho are the main sports that are organized at the village level. Hundreds of youth participated in the rural sports programme organized during various parts of the year.
The organization has always been using seminars and meetings to make the people aware, motivate and sensitize them on various issues of socio – economic important. In the year 2021-22 and year 2022-23, a series of meetings and seminars were organized by the organization at different places, the following meeting & seminars were organized during the year.
