Odisha is one of the poorest states in the entire country. This has been documented in numerous data and various development indicators released from time to time by both government and non-government agencies. Through millions of rupees are pumped into the system the results are yet to show on the ground.
We realize that it is not practically possible on the part of the government to reach every nook and corner of the society as the geographical spread of the state is quite big. Moreover, many parts of the state are either difficult to reach or simply in accessible. In the absence of government intervention it is the civil society organizations that work with the people in these difficult parts of the state. We realize that both government and non- Government agencies should work jointly to take the development agenda further.
I am happy to bring out the Annual Activities Report of AMRUT DHARA CHARITABLE TRUST for the year 2022-2023. During the year the organization undertook many meaningful programmes, which are implemented in the right spirit. The details of all these programmes are well documented in this report.
While presenting this Annual Activities Report I express my sincere thanks to the Supporting Agencies, for his kind support and encouragement. I am also thankful to all the district and block levels officials who extended their co- operation to the organization in implementing the programme. The staff of the organization worked in the most adverse condition to make all the programmes of the organization a success. I am thankful to them and except that they will continue to work in the same vigor and enthuse in the future. In the absence of much external support many charitable organizations and individuals provided
support with materials and resources to carry forward the good work of AMRUT DHARA CHARITABLE TRUST. I am thankful to them.
Last, but not the least I extend my sincere thanks to all those faceless persons who associated themselves with the organization at some point of time for the cause of social development.
