Welcome to "AmrutDhara"

Amrut Dhara’ is a Charitable Trust established under Indian law in force. Its registered office is situated at present at Mathasahi, P.O-Motiganj, Dist-Balasore, Odisha- 756003. The deed of AmrutDhara, Charitable Trust was executed in 28th December 2018 by Sri Tushar Ranjan Satpathy, the founder and Author of the trust Comprising Dr. Saroj Kumar Mohapatra & Aravinda Panda as the trustees. The purpose behind its set up is to alleviate human sufferings by providing healthcare, sanitation, medical aid, education, shelter and/or other objects to the poor, downtrodden, need and disabled humanity of general public utility as charitable purposes. “AmrutDhara Charitable Trust” is a free Old Age Home in the City of Balasore, established to serve exclusively for the noble cause of food, clothing and shelter, healthcare & Medical Care for the needy elderly people the residents of Balasore District.

FOREWORD

Odisha is one of the poorest states in the entire country. This has been documented in numerous data and various development indicators released from time to time by both government and non-government agencies. Through millions of rupees are pumped into the system the results are yet to show on the ground.

 

 

BRIEF PROFILE

Genesis of the Organization

AMRUT DHARA CHARITABLE  TRUST  came  into  being  by  a  group  of young people  in the  2018 that  wanted to  do  some  social  good  for the  poor and the disadvantaged in their own locality. Thus in the  initial years  they undertook some developmental work  albeit  unsystematically.  But  their  good  intention showed immediate results and they received unqualified support from the local population. Encouraged by this  over  whelming  response  from  the  local  people they decided to make the programme more widespread. In order to make their activities more visible and acceptable it was decided to get the organization registered under the relevant  acts.  Thus  the  organization  was  registered  under the Indian Trust Registration Act, 1882.

To work for the empowerment of the community so that the people can take care of themselves without waiting for outside intervention and can demand their rights, which are due to them

The organization believes in the developmental model of social development where the beneficiaries are treated as the part and parcel of the organization around which the whole development process revolves as opposed to the charity model in which the beneficiaries are treated as mere recipient of charities and aids.

Our Objective

The objects of the trust narrated in Para.4 Cl (O), is to establish, conduct, maintain the Old Age homes, homes for physically challenged men, women and children and persons with similar disabilities, and also to grant financial assistance to the institutions performing similar activities.

Our Financial

During the year 2021-22 the organization has received donation amounting Rs. 7,16,918/- Towards member fees & other receipt. During the year 2022-23 the organization has received donation amounting Rs. 10, 10,200/- Towards member fees & other receipt. That is a symbol of doing activity in excellent manner.

Activities & Achievements

There cannot be an armchair approach to understand various issues of human life. Poverty, quality education and quality life. The solution for an in- depth understanding of social problems and active participation of  diverged group is essential for the growth of human resources. AMRUT DHARA CHARITABLE TRUST developed a platform with like-minded people to analyse various social issues. Its causes and effects, and find out its possible effective solution to develop man over man.

FUTURE PLAN OF ACTION

The organization has prepared a Master plan for the year 2022-23, the organization will give importance to it and take all possible measures  to actualize the plan.

As per the master plan, more  and  more  importance  will be given for spread of vocational training in all the  project  area  of  Balasore and Remuna  Block  and  slum areas of Balasore Municipality of Balasore District.
